This is a start at something more complete, but for the moment I have a list of heavyweight Pullman sleepers in service circa 1951, and a list of heavyweight Parlor cars owned after 1948. A roster of the lightweight equipment can be found in The New Haven RR in the Streamlined Era by Doughty, still in print as of late 1999.

This was begun from the January 1951 Official Register of Passenger Train Equipment , with car types obtained from Wayner's Pullman Co. List of Cars - 1950 and built dates checked against Wayner's Pullman Panorama . It has been expanded with information from Kratville's Passenger Car Catalog . All the NY,NH&H heavyweight sleepers were built by Pullman. Most cars with a truck type entered are still listed in Wayner's Pullman Co. List of Cars - 1961 , remainder are from photographs or the Pullman Project.

The primary source for this list is Wayner's Pullman Co. List of Cars 1950 . This document appears to contain parlors that were operated by Pullman under contract, but not necessarily all parlors (the B&M's parlors aren't listed, for instance). Where possible, I've correlated Pullman Co. car names with numbers obtained from other researchers or found in the Official Register of Passenger Train Equipment or the article on parlor to coach conversions in the NHRHTA Shoreliner Vol. 21 # 3 . Where trucks or paint scheme are noted, information has been taken from miscellaneous photographs. Per Kratville, plans 4000 - 4007 are all late heavyweight cars; most have ice A/C, but they are all 32 volt as well.
