64. Libertus VanBokkelen ^{(13) (14)} was born on 6 Jun 1740 in Brielle, Netherlands. He was baptized on 26 Jun 1740 in Brielle, Netherlands. He was educated Studied medicine between 1765 and 1767 in Leiden, Netherlands. He was an Apothecary before 1791 in Brielle, Netherlands. He emigrated before 1802 from Schiedam, Netherlands. ⁽¹⁵⁾ D'Arcy G. Van Bokkelen had been told the 1st Libertus emigrated in 1804, and his
grandson Libertus's obituary says it was 1796. The 1793 date in the Record of the Van
Bokkelen Family is wrong - original Schiedam records show him still there after that time.
1802 is the date that Schiedam church records give for his being transferred to an
unnamed church in New York. He was buried in 1809 in Trinity Church Yard, New York, NY, USA. He died on 26 Nov 1809 in New York, NY, USA. Sheriff 1787, council of Brielle 1788, apothecary, owner and publisher of the Brielsche
Courant ("schepen 1787, raad 1788 te Brielle, apotheker, eigenarr, uitgever der
Brielsche Courant"). I don't know when his involvement with the newspaper began, but
in 1790, when the British stopped subsidizing it, he took it over from its original publisher, but was unable to continue it beyond January 1791.
He had marriage banns published on 9 Aug 1772 in Brielle, Netherlands. ⁽¹⁶⁾ He was married to Dederika van Yzendoorn on 3 Sep 1772 in Rockanje, Netherlands.⁽¹³⁾ Given as 23 Sep 1772 in "Notes copied from records in ... family bible", given as 2 Sep in Brielle in Record of the van Bokkelen Family.

65. Dederika van Yzendoorn was born on 6 Mar 1745. Given as 8 Mar 1744 in "Notes copied from records ...in family bible"
She was buried in 1816 in Trinity Church Yard, New York, NY, USA, with Libertus. She died on 10 Feb 1816 in New York, NY, USA. member of the Protestant church in Brielle 12 July 1772, with certificate from Dordrecht. Children were:

i. Abraham VanBokkelen was born on 30 Sep 1774 in Brielle, Netherlands. He was baptized on 2 Oct 1774 in Brielle, Netherlands. He emigrated in 1793 from Austria. He died in Austria.
